Be careful what you complement in my house around the holidays that is homemade. You are liable to get something very similar as a gift!!
Back in early December my in-laws fell in love with my Monogrammed pillows I made for my couch. One reason they probably liked them so much is my husband’s initials happen to be the exact initials as my Father-in-law’s.
It got my wheels turning and I decided to make them a set for their couch- remember my Christmas Gifts to family and friends were all homemade! They live at the beach so I designed them with canvas cloth, navy lettering and rope piping.
For instructions on how I made the letters go here. Luckily, I never throw anything away so I had the original template for the letters! (big time saver.)
I think the pillows were a hit!!
I guess they were not lying and like them!! Good thing. These would be hard to hide and pull out just when we come to town!! Ha-ha!
How many of you tuck away a homemade gift or gift in general except with the giver is coming over??? Guilty, but I will never tell with what!!!

These are really cool, you could even use the Silhouette to cut out the letters!
Oh my goodness I'd love people's comments on what they do with gifts that don't fit their decor. I have about 10 in a closet and always am afraid someone might notice they're not out when they come over!!
