My love for painter's drop cloth started a few months ago when I recovered a sewing chair I had inherited from my in-laws. It sits beautifully at a desk in my den and I admire it all the time. Pretty much thinking "if people only knew that is drop cloth material"
Then I moved on to recovering my seat cushions in my kitchen with some of the left over painter's Drop Cloth. I never did a post on these because I never had time in December. It is simple and beautiful (if you ask me). I have numbered each of my chairs 1-4, and have 4 people in my house, people have asked "Are you that OCD?" The answer is "no, it just looks good."
Because I do have 2 small children, I covered my chairs with plastic. "Mommy ain't no fool" I have recovered these chairs 6 times in the past 8 years (okay so maybe I am a little bit of a fool), but I got it now. PLASTIC!!! I want these to last a little longer then a year!
Pillows I have made with Painter's Drop Cloth....
A heart shaped wreath made with drop cloth strips. Yep, I will try just about anything!!
I still have a 2X3' piece of drop cloth from my original purchase. Who knows what I use it for next.
